The K3-Box for KONA 3 simplifies interfacing by offering a 19-inch, 1RU rack-mountable breakout box that attaches to the KONA 3 with just two cables.This option offers all the same inputs and outputs as the standard breakout cable, and can be easily rackmounted or placed on top of a broadcast monitor or editing desk.
Additional functionality includes simultaneous XLR and BNC AES output, 2-channel RCA analog audio monitoring, and looping BNC Genlock reference connectors.

Die KONA LSe baut auf der PCI-basierten KONA LS auf und bietet durch ein neues Hardwareinterface die Verbindung zu PCIe (PCI-Express). Zugeschnitten auf PCIe-basierte PowerMacs G5, offeriert die neue Karte analogen und digitalen SD-Videoschnitt über einen 12-bit Component oder Composite/S-video analog I/O, sowie einen10-bit SDI Eingang und 2 unabhängige SDI Ausgänge. Mit 6-Kanal SDI Audio, AES- und Balanced XLR-Audioein- und ausgänge, ergeben sich auch im auditiven Bereich viele Möglichkeiten.
Die optionale Breakoutbox KL-Box, bietet alle Ein- und Ausgänge über ein 19" Modul (1HE).

Die Karte wird mit aktuellen Treibern ausgeliefert und verrichtet ihren Dienst unter anderem in Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Combustion und Motion, ab Mac OS X 10.3.

CONNECTIVITY
Looking for unsurpassed analog and digital connectivity? Look nofurther. KONA LHe and LSe include cables to connect to almostany device. For SDI video, these cards feature one input and twooutputs (the KONA LSe is SD-only; KONA LHe can be configuredindependently for HD or SD), one connection for Genlock input,and three BNCs which may be configured for analog video inputand output (SD-only for LSe, HD or SD on LHe). Also included isa 9-pin connector for RS-422 machine control.

Because the KONA LHe supports analog component HD inputand output, devices with analog HD output, such as HDV decksand even game consoles, can be connected to the KONA LHefor a variety of workflows.

The optional breakout box for KONA LHe and KONA LSesimplifies connectivity in professional post-productionenvironments by offering a 19-inch, 1RU rack-mountablebreakout box that attaches to the KONA card. This option offersall the same inputs and outputs as the standard breakoutcable, and can be easily rack-mounted or placed on top of abroadcast monitor or editing console.
